Managed IT Services for Plano Businesses

Your firewall, Microsoft 365 tenant, endpoints, backups, and security tools all need to work together. If nobody is looking after the whole environment, employees lose time to recurring problems and leadership has a hard time knowing what is under control.

48 Technologies provides practical, ongoing IT management for Plano businesses, with direct access to experienced technical guidance.

A clearer operating model

When your current IT arrangement is not working

You do not need to wait for a major outage to decide that something has to change. A common warning sign is the same problem returning month after month, even though individual tickets are marked resolved.

Another is discovering that no one can clearly explain who owns your Microsoft 365 administration, firewall changes, backups, or vendor relationships. We can help you decide what needs ongoing management and what needs a separate cleanup project.

If you already have an IT employee, the answer may be a defined co-managed arrangement rather than replacing the work that person does well.

More than a help desk

The environment has to be managed as a whole

Routine support matters, but it is only one part of keeping a business running. Covered systems and responsibilities are defined in the agreement.

01

People and devices

Onboarding, offboarding, support for covered computers, monitoring, patching, and endpoint protection under an agreed scope.

02

Microsoft 365 and identity

Routine account and mailbox administration, license assignment, and access practices that fit how your employees work.

03

Networks and security

Oversight of covered firewall, switching, Wi-Fi, and security tools. Identity, email, endpoints, and the network need to work together.

04

Backup and recovery

Microsoft 365 backup and routine restore assistance for covered users under the agreed scope. Other backup needs are quoted separately.

05

Vendors and planning

Understand what is aging, which problems recur, and who owns an issue when an internet or software vendor is involved.

06

Clear service boundaries

Migrations, substantial remediation, hardware replacements, and major network changes are scoped as separate work.

If you are replacing an MSP

Start with access, ownership, and the open issues

Before responsibilities change hands, ask what the current provider controls and what your business can access directly. Administrative accounts, domain and DNS access, Microsoft 365 ownership, backup status, network documentation, licensing, and open issues all deserve a clear answer.

We can discuss what is known, what needs verification, and which risks call for a separate cleanup scope. The goal is not to sell the largest stack. It is to establish who owns the environment and what has to be maintained.

Questions worth asking
  • Who holds the administrative accounts?
  • Are backups documented and restorable?
  • Which network devices are covered?
  • What issues are still unresolved?
Grounded in the business

Different Plano businesses, different IT pressure points

Plano's business community includes professional services, technology, healthcare, and manufacturing. An office with frequent new hires may need consistent account setup and removal across Microsoft 365 and its business applications. A company with shared workstations or specialized equipment has a different support boundary: those systems need to be identified and scoped, not casually treated as ordinary employee laptops.

That is why the first discussion starts with your actual users, devices, locations, and critical work. A standard license bundle or a city-specific checklist never tells the whole story.

Service terms without guesswork

Support for Plano, with terms you can understand

We serve Plano as part of our Dallas–Fort Worth service area. Fully managed agreements include remote support for covered users and systems during the stated weekday hours, along with a defined allowance for scheduled routine onsite support.

Additional onsite work and out-of-scope projects require approval and are billed separately. Same-day dispatch and staffed 24/7 helpdesk coverage are not promised.

If you have an internal IT lead, co-managed support is quoted separately with a defined division of responsibility. It does not automatically carry the fully managed package's allowances.

For published package terms and examples, see the Dallas–Fort Worth managed IT pricing guide.

Practical answers

Questions Plano businesses ask

Can you take over from our current IT provider?

Yes, we can discuss replacing an underperforming provider. We start with your systems, current access and documentation, unresolved problems, and what you need the next provider to own. Migrations or substantial remediation are separately scoped; a transition is not presented as automatically disruption-free.

Can you manage Microsoft 365 and our office network together?

Yes, those systems need coordinated administration. Recurring work for covered Microsoft 365 users and listed network devices is defined in the agreement. Major tenant changes, new installations, and network redesigns are separately scoped.

How does onsite support in Plano work?

Routine onsite support for covered systems is scheduled within the Dallas–Fort Worth service area under the fully managed agreement's defined monthly allowance. Extra onsite labor is approved and billed separately. Co-managed onsite work is included only when explicitly part of that separately quoted scope.
